Cooperative Qualification Rules

• Registration – the cooperative must be registered with both the Office of Cooperative Societies (Department of Commerce and Industry) and the Investment Promotion Authority (IPA).

• Active operations – the cooperative must be fully operational at the time of nomination.

• Bank statement – a current bank statement must be submitted to show financial activity.

• Reference letter – cooperatives must provide a letter from a Provincial Commodity Board or District Authority, including contact details for at least one commodity buyer (local or international)
